It looks like Lil Yachty is getting ready to hit fans with some new music soon. On Monday, the ATL artist took to his Instagram page to preview not one, but two new upcoming songs. The first one, which we posted earlier, was an acoustic-driven love song that’s unlike anything Yachty’s done in the past (see here). The second snippet he previewed was actually live from the studio and is called “Who Want Da Smoke” with Memphis rapper BlocBoy JB.
“Who want da smoke? Who want da smoke? who want da who want da who want da smoke” Yachty raps on the chorus, before going on to spit… “Is you fuckin? Baby girl I need to know/ Who finna run get the rubbers from the store/ bitch soakin wet drippin' on my marble floor/ Never not strapped in the my city on my soul.”
Unfortunately there’s no other information about the collab, like who produced it or when it’ll be dropping, but just know it’s on the way.
In addition to the upcoming records, Yachty is also apparently readying some joint projects with Takeoff, Trippie Redd & Lil Pump. However there’s still no table time for any of those releases, but he did give an update, which you can see right here.
For now, check out the preview of the song “Who Want Da Smoke” with Blocboy and sound off in the comments.
