Lil Xan recently took to Twitter to share that he would no longer be doing any interviews, which appeared to delight a vast number of our readership with comments like "This is great news," "I'm cool with this," and my personal favorite: "Who?" While the young rapper does not endorse the recreational use of Xanax, many have been on him because of his name. Xan AKA Diego has created even more controversy this week when he said that Tupac's music was boring in an interview with Revolt. The comments angered many hardcore rap fans, with Waka Flocka proceeding to effectively ban the Internet sensation from hip-hop.
Diego decided to respond to the discussion, sharing on his Instagram story that his haters will just need to get used to him. The rapper spoke to the camera, saying, "PSA: Lil Xan's not going anywhere. Sorry. You gotta look at this ugly face for a lot longer, guys." Xan has seen his following steadily increase after the immense success of his song "Betrayed," for which the video has been viewed over 137 million times since its release. With his proclamation, Diego seems to be refusing Waka's ban from the genre, promising to continue working and, hopefully, win over those who critique him.
Xan has announced his Total Xanarchy album, which boasts an impressive list of features, will be releasing next month. Watch the rapper's response below and let us know how you feel in the comments.
