The impasse between Lil Wayne and Cash Money might even have scuttled the release of Tha Carter V. Rap-A-Lot Records founder and boxing manager J Prince spoke to TMZ about the beef and said he backed Lil Wayne in the matter.
"That's a no-brainer. That's the little homie, and as I've stated a few times, publicly, we going to get to the bottom of that," he said.
Prince's son Jas Prince discovered Drake and introduced him to Weezy. Later, when Drizzy blew up, the Princes sued Birdman for unpaid royalties. The matter is still up in the air. However, the rap mogul said he's intent on getting the money he and Wayne are owed.
"Wherever it's at, we have to reach and grab it," he said. "Even if it's in his ass, you got to get it up outta there."
Apparently known to settle beefs, Prince said he will find a way to make Birdman pay.
"I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse."
