After being targeted by Rich The Kid in the recent "Dead Friends" (the first full-on "diss track" put forth by a new generation rapper), many speculated whether or not Lil Uzi Vert would clap back with a vengeance. While Uzi has seemingly perfected the melodic banger, the status of his current bar game has been pondered of late; if he were to respond to Rich, what would it even sound like? That may very well be a question for another time. Today, it's important to focus on the now. Remember G-Herbo's Drake approved "Who Run It" freestyle? Last night, the Chicago rapper shared a preview to an upcoming remix, featuring none other than Lil Uzi Vert.
Lo and behold, the Luv Is Rage rapper is going in like a man possessed. Blending fashion references with depictions of "Chiraq" violence, Uzi's double time flow is a new look for the young Philadelphia rapper. If there were ever the time to fire a few shots at Rich, it seems like the hard-hitting Three 6 Mafia remix is a suitable backdrop. In all honesty, it's cool to see Uzi flexing a little bit, as he rarely gets the chance to murder a beat of this nature. As of now, it's unclear when this remix is set to see the light of day, but one thing is certain - Lil Uzi Vert has something to say.
Check out the preview below, and sound off below. Are ya'll looking forward to hearing this one?
