Lil Rel didn't take too kindly to Tracy Morgan's recent comments.

Tiffany Haddish has been laying claim to the spotlight for the past year or so, and in a recent interview, it seemed as though Tracy Morgan wasn’t too keen on the trend.

It was while at this year’s Vulture Festival that Morgan was asked about Haddish who plays his on-screen ex-wife on TBS’s The Last O.G. But, Morgan was prompt in shutting down questions regarding Haddish and her fame.

“We’re not going to go there, because Tiffany is not the only one,” Morgan abruptly answered “This is not Tiffany’s show. This is Tracy Morgan. This is The Last O.G. If you’re going to ask that about Tiffany, ask that about Cedric [The Entertainer], craft services and everyone who comes to work every day on that show.”

He went on to note that it’s not a dislike of Tiffany that drove such a response but clarified that he would rather talk about everyone as a whole.

“I don’t want to just shine the light on Tiffany,” the comedic veteran added. “I love Tiffany, but how I run my set is different.”

Nonetheless, Lil Rel Howery, who also has experience playing opposite Tiffany as she starred as his ex-wife on the Carmichael Show wasn’t feeling Tracy Morgan’s response and took to Twitter to call him “one hatin’ ass dude.”

“That show would be nothing if @TiffanyHaddish wasn’t on it,” Lil Rel tweeted. “Don’t bite the hand that keeps you relevant!!!”

The most recent development in the story comes as TMZ recently caught up with Cedric The Entertainer, who also has a starring role in The Last O.G. In his own words, Cedric offered justification on Morgan’s sentiments, assuring that his comments weren’t rooted in hate for Tiffany Haddish.

“This is Tracy’s comeback. He’s been working on this show a long time,” Cedric told the outlet. “You get in these interviews and people want to ask you the same questions over and over again. That could’ve been one of many interviews that day where people keep asking about Tiffany and I just felt like it’s more of the frustration of ‘this is my show, this is my thing.’”
