Lil Nas X has successfully crossed over, at this point. He went from a viral TikTok rapper, essentially the first one to really have a song on the social media dance-centric platform go viral, to credited mainstream artist. It didn't come without slander along the way, but Lil Nas X has always been ahead of the trollers, often trolling them right back.
All that to say, he's here to stay, at least for now. It's been a minute since he dropped a million remixes of his "Old Town Road" single and the EP that followed, 2019's 7 EP. Today, he decided to confirm with his fans-- assuming they're still with him, as he says-- that there will indeed be a follow-up project to the EP. It's been almost a year since the EP dropped.
The rapper wrote in his short message to the fans,
"To all of my fans who are still with me i am beyond thankful for you & never want you to forget that. been working hard on this album for the last year and can’t wait for you to hear this shit. love u."
