You may not realize it due to the lack of commercial success or big time hits, but Lil Durk has been feeding the streets with plenty of new heat this past year. In fact, dating back to last July, the Chicago-turned-ATL rapper has released three full-length projects, including Lil Durk 2X, Never Forget, & most recently Love Songs For The Streets, but even that is not all of his work. A couple weeks ago, Durk joined forces with fellow Chicago rapper Lil Reese for a joint EP called Supa Vultures, and now he’s already prepping the release of Signed To The Streets 3. But before we’re treated to the third installment in Signed To The Streets, Durk decides to come through today and hold us over in the meantime with a new remix over Meek Mill’s popular Wins & Losses street cut “We Ball,” featuring Booka600 which he's been promoting over the past couple weeks on Twitter.
Leaving the same Wheezy-produced beat intact, Durk delivers another streets-personified freestyle that finds him repping OTF to the fullest and reflecting on some of the homies he’s lost due to jail or death in the process. Following up his appearance on Zoey Dollaz’s “Move Like The Mob” record last week & “Goofy” with Future & Jeezy, “We Ball” remix is another strong addition to Durk’s steady-growing catalogue of street cuts.
Take a listen and let us know what you think. Look for Signed To the Streets 3 to be coming soon. Just last month, Durk was spotted in the studio working on new music with Future, Young Thug & Tee Grizzley, so it’s safe to say he’s got some more heat on the way for us. Stay tuned, STTS3 coming very soon.
Quotable Lyrics:
Fuck a footage Nuski died in my face
I knew I lost my father I seen the color of the tape
His momma still mad so I gave her a break
Break bitch, all OGs startin' to think that I'm fake
Chino, Asap, Gudo, Moski, Tayski, I can't live without 'em
Guda that zoo brother, I don't know him but heard a lot about him
Get smoked if you talk without it
Thinking about a pass I doubt it
Opps took so many factors had to go and pass the choppa
