Le'Veon Bell signed with the New York Jets last week, and fans of Gang Green couldn't be more pleased. As a Jets fan myself, it's been a hard couple of decades of fandom. With young sophomore quarterback Sam Darnold looking to have a breakout second year (much like Carson Wentz or Jared Goff), and a string of new signings to help bolster the team (CJ Mosely, Jamison Crowder, Josh Bellamy, Brian Poole, Kelechi Osemele) it looks like New York will have a decent season. Bell infamously held out last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers for more money, and even more infamously signed with the Jets for less money than Pittsburgh offered him. While many in the sports world are scratching their heads, Jets fans have no complaints.
In celebration of the new signing, Bell dropped a mixtape called Life's A Gamble. As reported by TMZ Sports, Bell hit up Rockwell Nightclub in Miami Beach on Saturday night (March 16) for an extravagant album release party. Bell performed several songs off the project, including "Free at Last" where he addresses the contention between him and the Steelers. Bell's 4-year, $52.5 million deal must have him feeling like a champ. Now, if the Jets can make the playoffs this year that would be a real feat. Check out the footage of Bell performing here.
