Lamar Odom recently penned an article for The Player's Tribune wherein he opened up about his ongoing battle with drug addiction and how Khloe Kardashian once walked in on him and a woman getting high in a random motel.
In the piece, Lamar explains how his cocaine addiction completely controlled his life leading up to the near fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in 2015. He also talked about how he cheated on Khloe and the moment he finally realized how much his life had spiralled out of control.
Lamar explains, per The Player's Tribune,
"One of the darkest places I've ever been was when I was in a motel room, getting high with this chick, and my wife (at the time) walked in. That probably was like rock bottom."
"My dick and my habit took me down all the roads that you don't ever wanna go down."
Nowadays, Odom says he's sober but that his drug addiction will never go away and it's something that he struggles with on a daily basis.
"I’m sober now. But it’s an everyday struggle. I have an addiction. I’ll always have an addiction. It never goes away. I mean, I want to get high right now. But I know that I can’t if I want to be here for my children."
