Kyle's working on an upcoming television series.

Kyle debuted his acting chops when he starred in Netflix's The After Party and it seems as though he's not done with the film and television world just yet. Having started his career as a rapper, Kyle is now set to team up with Carl Jones and Brian Ash (producers of The Boondocks and Black Dynamite) for Fuse Media's Sugar and Toys.

“Our platforms are fast becoming destinations for hard-to-reach, young viewers that demand content that takes a stand by tapping into their passions and values through the musicians and influencers we feature in our series,” J-T Ladt, Fuse Media's chief content officer said, via AllHipHop. “We are excited to be entering into the impactful animation space in a big way with the provocative Sugar and Toys while renewing our franchise series that are breaking audience records across all our platforms.”

The publication details how Kyle will join Carl and Brian to "host the show which will consist of original animated programs and live-action segments" on pop culture and politics.

The show is said to premiere on Fuse in mid-2019.

"More people whether it’s the Diddy’s or the Jay-Z’s or Dr. Dre’s, the hierarchy of the hip-hop community, I think that we should get back into making films that involve hip-hop culture," Kyle previously stated on breaking into the film industry. "Even if it’s a Do the Right Thing or Juice, it doesn’t have to directly be about rap, just the culture of it and involve rappers."
