Kris Wu is reportedly working on his debut album at the moment, which is expected to arrive later this year, but to help build hype for it, the rising Chinese-Canadian artist has another record to share with us first. Following up presumably the lead single “Like That,” Kris decides to return to the scene today and share his new single called “Freedom” featuring R&B songstress Jhene Aiko.
Over production from FK1st, Jhene & Kris intertwine their vocals for the chorus and each lay down their respective verses, addressing relationship issues and needing their “freedom” at times. “She had a bit of talking and she told me she want a little freedom (freedom)/ She got lied to about her whereabouts just for some freedom(freedom)/ She wanna hang with her friends on the weekend/ She just want that freedom (freedom),” they sing on the chorus.
