After teaming up with Gucci Mane and Bruno Mars on “Wake Up In The Sky” earlier this month, Kodak Black decides to return to the scene today and share his first solo release since getting out of jail called “If I’m Lyin, I’m Flyin.” The track is presumably the first single off his forthcoming album, which we know is already in the works and on the way.
As for the record itself, it finds Kodak rapping about the street life and coming from the gutter, while referencing life in the cell in the process. “I cant let these niggas knock me off my pimpin'/ God sat me down and talked to me I listened/ I was in that cell too but they don't get that if I don't make it in the booth Ima make it in the kitchen/ I'm special with the mic, I'm special with the whippin’” he spits.
Take a listen to the first official single and let us know what you think. Record available on iTunes. Look for more from Kodak to be coming soon too.
