People like to say that "hair is just hair" yet what grows out of some people's heads is clearly an integral part of their person. As such, these individuals demand respect when it comes to their 'dos. Kodak Black slides into this group as he apparently felt slighted by a fellow rapper's new hairstyle. Quando Rando's new esthetic seems to have been inspired by the locs Black used to rock. The Atlantic Records signee, whose real name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman, debuted his massive locs on social media yesterday. Soon after, the Georgia rapper was hit with some hate. People asked him why he would want to "copy another n*gga," and Kodak had the same question.
"I've never even, like, wanna look like a nigga," Black said in a video uploaded to social media. "Why would a nigga wanna look like a nigga, f*ck?" He goes on to express why he thought copycat behavior was uncalled for in addition to making dudes appear to be worse than a "b*tch." His whole speech is delivered in a vernacular most commenters are not familiar with but the message is clear.
Although Kodak doesn't appear to name Quando in his rant, fans made the connection. Rondo's comments section flooded haterade. The 20-year-old entertainer was quick to address the criticism by posting a picture of himself smiling wide. "1 Thing About Me I Never Gave 2 Fuccs," Quando wrote in the caption followed by the hashtags, "LeaveHateInMyComment" and "HateAroundTheCorner."
