The news of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's fourth child has been floating around for a while now in a state of half-confirmation, but last night Kim put the rumours to rest and confirmed that the couple are expecting a new baby "sometime soon."
The confirmation was made on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where Kim appeared with her fellow-Kardashians Khloe and Kourtney, and where Kim also revealed that they're expecting the new kid to be a boy.
After watching the video it's very apparent that Kim is not pregnant and so, it seems safe to assume based on earlier reports and the fact that they used a surrogate to carry Chicago, that the couple has chosen to use a surrogate for child #4 as well. Kim has talked in the past about this decision, specifically one sunny day in the front seat of her Range Rover in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where she said to her sister, re: pregnancy, that "I truly don't know if my body can handle it one more time."
Kim has also described the positive sides of surrogacy as well: "I enjoyed the surrogacy process. When it came time to breastfeed, I realized it was the best decision I have made — it's a game changer...I can spend so much more time with the older kids, getting them used to the new baby."
As for the name of the newest West, there has been no official confirmation, but much internet speculation. From the comments section of the video where the news was announced:
