The last few days have been hellish in Miami. It feels like there's been a rapper checkpoint put in place by the police just outside of Rolling Loud Festival, either leading to set cancellations or arrests. Lil Wayne told fans that he was cancelling his performance at the last minute, citing festival police as his reason. When Kodak Black was on his way to the show, he was nabbed by the police and is facing ten years in jail as a result. Rising rapper JayDaYoungan was also arrested but he has since been released. As for Memphis rapper Key Glock, he seems to have escaped Rolling Loud without a scratch on his record but one day after the festival, he was arrested in Miami for felony possession of a firearm and marijuana.
As reported by XXL, a video started circulating of the rapper being detained by cops after Rolling Loud. New documents appear to confirm that Key Glock, whose real name is Markeyvius Cathey, was arrested for possession of more than twenty grams of cannabis and possession of a concealed firearm. Glock could be facing serious time because, in the state of Florida, two of his charges are prosecuted as third-degree felonies.
