"Social media enhances everything."

For weeks, people have been trying to figure out whether or not Kevin Hart will be hosting the 2019 Academy Awards. This year, the comedian has been critiqued for many things, including some homophobic tweets that resurfaced from a long time ago and a "Cowboys & Indians" theme party that he had for his kid's birthday. He's proven to be a pretty controversial guy in the last year and he's tired of apologizing for everything that he does. At this point, his comedy will always strike a nerve with people -- and he understands that -- but he's not going to change for anybody. Hart stopped by The Breakfast Club to chop it up about his most recent issue with the Oscars and why he's always pressured to apologize for his actions.

The star spoke to Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee about how many times he's had to address his Oscars hosting gig, noting that he's finished speaking about it. Near the end of the interview, he notes that he's afraid that at some point in the next few years, he'll "run out of" apologies, joking about all the criticism he's faced this year. He issued an apology to the people that may have been offended by his sons' "Cowboys & Indians" birthday party before criticizing social media, saying that it enhances things to make them more dramatic than they actually are.
