With summer on the horizon, or at the very least within shouting distance, it seems logical for the boys of Brockhampton to emerge from their hidey-holes. It's been a minute (in rap-years, in reality, it's been about six months) since Brockhampton came through with a project. Their last effort Iridescence marked a departure from the Saturation series, which some fans welcomed with open arms. In the time to follow, however, prolific young boy band have kept their noses to the grindstone. Only now has news of their movement began to resurface, with defacto frontman Kevin Abstract leading the charge.
Not long after posting what may very well be a solo album cover, Abstract doubled down with a brief trailer, which offers a few gentle musings: "Teach me empathy," “Teach me how to feel”, and “ARIZONA baby." The footage appears in keeping with their nostalgic aesthetic, though we're uncertain whether this marks an Abstract solo project or a new Brockhampton album. While the album cover speaks to the former, the group has been known to pull the switcheroo on occasion, making them unreliable as far as narrators are concerned.
Either way, it's likely that Brockhampton fans are about to catch a win. Keep an eye out for more details as they surface.
