Keri Hilson is staging her comeback after literally disappearing from the circuit for some years. On International Women's Day, Keri made the announcement via Twitter to her 4.5 million followers. Part of her campaign involves a live auction set through IfOnly, in which fans can bid for a 1/8 chance to tour her studio. Once inside they will be treated to exclusive look at her new album. Proceeds will go towards the Keri Hilson Foundation which is said to "enrich the lives of women & children through arts, education, & health & fitness."
Between 2008 and roughly 2011, Keri Hilson had cemented herself as a perennial hitmaker in the industry. Her production credits included hits by R. Kelly, Mary J Blige, Ludacris, The Pussycat Dolls, Plies, and Britney Spears. Hilson profited from her own exposure as a solo artist, benefitted greatly by her work relationship with super producer Timbaland.
Hilson has started the bidding at $2,500. Interested fans can visit her IfOnly Page and have another 20 days to do so until the contest ends. We hope the accrued funds will make a discernible difference. As for her music, it remains to be seen how her songwriting talents will translate into the next decade.
