Today is shaping up to be a big day for new music. Tonight, we'll be blessed with Gunna and Lil Baby's collaborative album Drip Harder as well as a few other projects. However, one album that continues to be on people's minds is Anderson .Paak's upcoming effort. The artist has been working hard with Dr. Dre on Oxnard, which the two have confirmed is complete. The release date has not been announced yet but we may be nearing some news about it. One of the collaborations we were seriously hoping for was Kendrick Lamar and when the two were posted up in the studio a few weeks ago, our hopes were high for the finished product. Finally, we get to hear their new song as "Tints" has just been released.
The California artist is one of the most exciting musicians out right now and we seriously can't wait for Oxnard to be shared with the world. Coupled up with Kendrick Lamar, this is a must-listen collaboration for anybody. .Paak has been coming through with some bouncy tracks, following up this summer's "Bubblin'" with "Tints."
Anderson .Paak was previously announced to be performing at Mac Miller's "Celebration of Life" later this month. Hopefully, his new album will be out by then so he can work in a few tracks at the emotional ceremony.
Quotable Lyrics:
I been feeling kind of cooped up, cooped up
I'm tryna get some fresh air
Hey why you got the roof up, roof up
You know it never rains here
