Keke Palmer enters new territory in the upcoming Indie film Pimp. Known for her roles in Akeelah And The Bee, 90210 and Scream Queens the 24-year-old actress plays a lesbian pimp who faces some dangerous issues working in the sex trade industry.
Aside from her job as a pimp, the film also centres on the love story between Keke's character, Wednesday, her girlfriend and their dream to find a better life. DMX plays Keke's father and is the person who introduced her to the game.
"When you in this game you in it for life, it's gone take you for a ride. When it does, the only thing you can trust is your money," DMX says in the video below. "My daddy knew I wasn't like the rest of them and what he loved the most about me was that I was exactly like him," Keke's character follows up.
The movie also stars Vanessa Morgan, who's currently starring in Netflix's Riverdale as Toni and Aunjanue Ellis from The Help.
