The Kardashian family has become synonymous with makeup and beauty, so when the family's makeup artist parts ways with them under mysterious circumstances, it's no small thing. As reported just a few days ago, the makeup expert Joyce Bonelli split with the Kardashians months ago and "the family doesn’t speak to her anymore."
The fact that the business (and personal) relationship ended so quietly, coupled with an Instagram photo posted by Bonelli wearing a bathrobe with the phrase "fuck with me I DARE YOU" written on the back, has led some to wonder about the terms of Bonelli's departure. However, Bonelli put all the rumours to rest yesterday when she spoke to People magazine, making it clear that she wasn't fired, saying that “When something personal happens, it’s just a personal thing and I don’t think it’s anyone’s business. But people should know, too, that I wasn’t fired and I love all of them and I’m proud of them, too.”
The makeup artist didn't stop there with the praise, saying: “I’m inspired by that whole family — I mean, just look at them — [their] work ethic and each individually are amazing. We definitely are on the same level as far as working so many years together. I’m so proud of Kylie and her Forbes cover.” There is speculation that Bonelli's praise could be a cover-up for some shady dealings she engaged in, which prompted her to leave the Kardashian fold. Apparently she "tried to go around them on a deal so the Kardashians wouldn’t make money off of it."
The definitive reasons remain to be seen, so for now let's just leave it how Bonelli did: “Who hasn’t gotten in a fight with their girlfriends?”
