Kanye West has already accepted defeat against Lil Wayne.

This weekend will be one of the most exciting for hip-hop fans of the entire year. We've had some great weeks in terms of competition between artists as each fights for the top spot on the charts. Travis Scott, YG, and Mac Miller's mutual release date immediately comes to mind, as well as the entire month of June. Tonight and tomorrow are bound to be insane as Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Kevin Gates, Logic, and others are all dropping projects. In our hearts, we all know that Lil Wayne will be walking out with the sales crown at the end of it - there's just too much hype - and even Kanye West has already accepted defeat.

There doesn't appear to be an official single released yet for Yeezy's upcoming album unless "I Love It" is slotted in but the album has garnered a decent amount of attention. Normally, a Kanye project would be the biggest drop of the day but considering we've all been waiting years for Wayne to finally unveil Tha Carter V, that takes the cake. Ye surprisingly has no issue taking the backseat either as he let off a tweet recognizing that he was destined to come second to Tunechi. "We’re releasing Yandhi Saturday night," confirmed Ye, leaving some time to breathe between Wayne's drop and his. He continued, "We know it will come in number 2 to my brother Lil Wayne and that’s lovely. The universe needs Ye and Wayne music at the same time."

Kanye was once locked in a chart battle with 50 Cent years ago, which he ultimately won. However, this battle is practically unwinnable and Ye clearly knows that. We're excited to see the final numbers once they're in.
