It may not be Friday but Kanye West was in a freestyling mood. We must say, it's refreshing to hear Kanye spitting bars and while they may not be as extensive as his recorded lyrics, the impromptu performance has us pumped for his upcoming albums. After taking issue with TMZ's coverage of his "erratic" behavior, Ye invited the publication's founder Harvey Levin to his offices for a meeting, to which he happily accepted. In a new report, TMZ has changed directions, writing that Ye is anything but unpredictable at the moment as he is laser-focused on his upcoming releases.
Kanye spent nearly two hours in a meeting with Harvey and several music executives while they planned strategies for the releases. You'll recall, the rapper announced upcoming projects from Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, and Nas as well as a collaboration between himself and Kid Cudi and a solo album. Yeezy revealed during the meeting that each album will feature 7 songs with production solely undertaken by himself. The media outlet writes that around 10 songs were played during the session, selecting cuts from each project, writing simply that they're "awesome."
Likely the most intriguing part of the meeting is Kanye's casual freestyle for Harvey Levin, as he goes in over a minimalistic beat with a Yeezus-like flow. Affirming that he is being serious about his potential 2024 Presidential run, Ye was sporting his "Make America Great Again" hat proudly after experiencing backlash for his Trump support. With April 25 having the probability of being named Kanye West Twitter day, do you think Ye will lay low today?
