Kacy Hill is one of the more recent names that was acquired by G.O.O.D Music in an attempt to take over the entire music industry. Last year, they just about did that, releasing new albums over the span of five weeks and dominating our playlists. One artist that was missing from the push though was Kacy. After she was touted as one of the most talented up-and-coming stars, she seemingly became an after-thought to the G.O.O.D Music executives, which is a story that's become all too familiar at this point. According to OnSmash, Kacy Hill has officially announced her departure from the label, stating that there's no bad blood between her and anybody over there.
"I left GOOD btw," she reportedly wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "No bad feelings + I’m thankful for everything but it’s what I needed to do for this new music." Last year, we did not receive much new music from Kacy Hill and now that she's told the world that her album is complete, we're hoping she can wow us again with her unbelievable charm.
This isn't the first time somebody has been upset with how their career was handled by G.O.O.D Music. The label has become notorious for seemingly forgetting about artists. Think of somebody like Desiigner. The man had so much potential and where is he now? The same thing happened to Kacy Hill and now, she's standing up for herself and doing things on her own agenda.
