Drake finally released his long-awaited fifth studio album, Scorpion this past Friday. As expected, the project is doing major numbers on streaming services. Within a few days, it managed to set a new first week streaming record. It's safe to say that people are really feeling his new album right now including Justin Timberlake. In a recent interview, he not only praised "The Boy" for his work on the album but suggested that the two of them might have some fire on the way.
Justin Timberlake was recently shared a photo of a studio session he had with two frequent Drake collaborators, Nineteen85 and James Fauntleroy. He seems to be working on new music but it's unsure whether it's for a new project. However, in a recent interview with Complex, he revealed that he and Drake have spoke about collaborating again which might explain why he was in the studio with two Scorpion contributors.
"There’s like two or three tracks on every G.O.O.D. Music release that I really, really am feeling." He said, "I love Scorpion, I think it literally just like answered anything. I think The Boy came correct with that one. We’ve talked about [collaborating again] a lot. I don’t wanna say too much because I don’t wanna jinx it, but we’ve talked about it a lot.”
While there's no indication when we could expect the collaboration between Drake and Justin Timberlake, it seems promising considering his recent studio session with Nineteen85 & James Fauntleroy.
