For the last few days, there have been rumblings that Justin and Hailey Bieber may be heading towards a divorce. The sources seemed a little shaky though, mostly coming from the typical tabloids. While their relationship can get hard at times, Justin and Hailey appear to be working through things just fine. They graced the cover of this month's edition of Vogue Magazine, opening up about their marriage for one of the first times ever.
The couple has been notably silent about their actual union, choosing to tie the knot in a private ceremony. Their public ceremony keeps getting pushed back but it's meant to be more of a symbolic thing for them. In Vogue, Justin was honest about a lot of what he's gone through in his career. At just 24-years-old, he has been in the public eye for a long time and he's dealt with many a controversy. Because of his religious beliefs, he admitted that he did not have sex for over a year before marrying Hailey. Vogue writes that he once had a "legitimate problem with sex." It was his only remaining vice after cleaning up in all other areas of his life.
"Sometimes people have sex because they don't feel good enough," said Biebs. "Because they lack self-worth. Women do that, and guys do that. I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul. And I believe that God blessed me with Hailey as a result."
The pop star was also candid about his dependence on certain drugs, previously having an issue with Xanax. "I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed," he said.
