Juelz Santana has surprisingly dropped his bid to be granted permission to travel for work according to new reports.

Juelz Santana's legal situation has been incredibly confusing from the start. The Dipset rapper was initially caught in early March with an unconcealed weapon in his bag while boarding an airplane. Juelz allegedly fled the scene without even taking his luggage, passport or wallet as he ran from the Newark airport. Days later, he turned himself in and was arrested. While he appears to be mostly off the hook regarding the charges, he still faces up to twenty years in prison if he is convicted of the crime. Last week, it was reported that Juelz was seeking permission to travel so that he could tour and provide for his children. While the request for him to be removed from house arrest was considered, the rapper surprisingly turned back on his bid altogether.

It is being reported by Bossip that Juelz Santana has dropped his legal bid to get off of house arrest. His lawyers had initially asked if he would be able to go on tour and perform at this weekend's Rolling Loud festival in Miami but, after further consideration, Juelz pulled the plug on himself for unknown reasons. Santana was expected in court today to decide whether his house arrest would be lifted but his lawyer allegedly pulled the plug on the hearing at the last minute with no reasons cited.

Juelz is due back in court tomorrow for an additional hearing in the same case. We will keep you updated on his legal situation as it becomes clear.
