John Krasinski misses The Office, and millions of Americans across the nation agree with him. Krasinski, who played Jim Halpert on the show, wants to catch up with characters from the series to see how they progressed in the last five years. The hit mockumentary aired on NBC from 2005-13. Speaking with IndieWire, Krasinski revealed that he would like to see a revival of the show.
“It’s one of those things where I’m sure people don’t believe me when I say I would totally do it, because the truth is I would totally do it,” Krasinski said. He continued on to reference the UK series that inspired The Office, using an idea from that show to help dictate the idea for a revival.
“I think the UK thing that I always have pitched and wanted to do is that Christmas special thing, where we do a Christmas special this year and then two years from now, or three years from now, we do another one,” he said. “I love that idea coming back finding out where everybody is. I would totally be down for that.”
Currently, Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt star alongside each other in the new film A Quiet Place. He's also slated to play Jack Ryan in the upcoming Amazon series of the same name. Hopefully, he can take time out of his schedule to make sure this reunion happens.
