An additional cast member was revealed to join the Fast & Furious franchise, World Wrestling Entertainment legend John Cena. The announcement of the addition was made via Vin Diesel, known to play the legendary role of character Dominic Torreto, via his official Instagram account. In the shared video, the lead actor proceeds onto discussing the importance of keeping the franchise "iconic" and "deserving of loyalty" as well as his herein responsibility in doing so.
Diesel then speaks on the late Paul Walker, by referring to the deceased actor as his character name "Pablo" and chimes in on the related feeling of him sending "another soldier for the fight for truth." The honorary recipient of praise is then revealed to be John Cena, who comes into focus and proudly does his signature "U Can't See Me" hand gesture.
Surely, fans were excited about the news and have since speculated on Cena's role in the anticipated movie set to release in 2020. According to HYPEBEAST, the WWE-star's introduction will reportedly make up for the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's absence caused by his involvement in the franchise spin-off, Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw. However, The Rock may make an appearance in the 10th movie.
