The United States is an uproar after four police officers were fired following their involvement with the death of George Floyd. Star Wars actor John Boyega went on Instagram Live on Wednesday (May 27) to talk about just how much he hates racists, and while it's an understandable sentiment, Boyega was met with pushback from a few of his fans.
"This just burns. Seems to be a never ending cycle," John Boyega also tweeted. The murderers need to be charged severely. Even in the face of death this man was given zero empathy." A person responded, "Hate is everywhere and hating someone only makes it worse try love." Another said, “Hate [is] a strong word, we can’t conquer hatred with hatred. We rather say we hate their attitude." Boyega was unrelenting. “I said what I said. Speak for yourself at all times x.”
