Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey are back at it. Jim Jones announced that the long-awaited Dipset reunion album would be coming in November earlier this month. Entitled Diplomatic Ties, the reunion album will be Dipset's first studio album since 2004's Diplomatic Immunity 2. The New York squad has been through their ups and downs since then, with members leaving and others participating in inner-group feuds. Even after brushing their beefs aside, the crew experienced unfortunate circumstances such as Juel Santana being placed under home detention. Still, nothing stops the Diplomats. After completing the spirited "Dipset Forever" tour this past Summer, the flashy New York collective is ready to deliver a new album.
Jones took to Instagram on Monday (October 29) to tease the first single off Diplomatic Ties called “Sauce Boyz.” The short clip places Jones and Cam'Ron in their hometown, and the crew also announces a concert at the Apollo Theater in New York City on November 23 to celebrate the album's release. “#DipSetThanksGiving “Diplomatic Ties” 11/22,” Jones wrote as the caption for the clip. “#BlackFridayConcert at th (sic) #Apollo 11/23 #DiplomatFriday should have more announcements later today.” It looks like Thanksgiving will usher in the beginning of a fresh Diplomat season.
