Jhene Aiko is back with her "Wasted Love Freestyle 2018."

We haven't received a whole lot of music from Jhene Aiko this year. In actuality, we received a few offerings from her, but she's definitely been quiet. However, she made her triumphant return to social media at the top of November after a brief hiatus -- which in 2018 means that she's planning on dropping some new music in the near future. Thankfully, she isn't letting fans go the rest of the year without at least a little something. Jhene Aiko comes through with her new track, "Wasted Love Freestyle 2018."

Amid break-up rumors, Jhene Aiko is back with "Wasted Love Freestyle 2018." It's unsure if this is addressed towards her relationship with Big Sean, but she does open up about breaking up with her ex and the hardships it caused in her life. "You became my life / I never realized / You were my life / Without you by my side / That just don’t feel right," she sings.

She posted the song on Twitter with the caption, "tis the season" alongside a broken heart and vomiting emojis.

Rumors that she and Big Sean broke up first surfaced in mid-November when she covered up her tattoo of Big Sean with a dragon piece. Despite the speculation, she revealed that it's all love.

Quotable Lyrics
How did love get away from us?
Now's my time, I should wait for love
Waste of time, what a waste of love
You became my life
