Jhene Aiko's love for Tupac has been well noted in the past. She's been open about the impact that the late rapper had on her life and for what would've been his 44th birthday, she teamed up with photographer Danny Williams to recreate some of his most iconic photographs. She recently performed for "Spotify Singles" series where she delivered a performance of one of Pac's most uplifting songs.
Jhene Aiko delivers a bare cover of 2Pac's "Keep Your Head Up." The singer is backed by a harp and a keyboard to deliver her rendition of Pac's song. The song is clearly delivered from a male but Aiko switches up some of the lyrics so it fits her perspective. It's always difficult to cover someone else's work and make it match up to their efforts but Aiko does a great job.
