At long last, the beloved coupling of Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have made things official after the retired baseball star announced that his longtime partner and superstar has "said yes" to his marriage proposal.
According to a source, the two got engaged while on a getaway vacation in the Bahamas with PEOPLE reporting that Benny Medina, Lopez's longtime manager, confirmed the news.
The couple first started dating in 2017, making their pairing public when they first appeared together at that year's Met Gala.
“It was just one of those things where you feel compelled to do something you wouldn’t normally do,” Jennifer Lopez previously told Vanity Fair of their choice to make their relationship public.
The engagement arrives weeks after the two celebrated their two-year anniversary in early February.
"You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place... in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life... you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again," J-Lo penned in a heartfelt Instagram post at th time. " Every time I think I have you pegged, you surprise me in the most wonderful ways reminding me how blessed I am to have found you now in this moment at this time."
