Jennifer Aniston is most famous for her role as Rachel on Freinds, but the gorgeous actress hasn't slowed down since the show ended in 2004. In recent years, we've watched some of Hollywood's biggest stars jump from the movie screen to the streaming screen. Netflix movies are viewed at a rate that is competitive with cinema films, and the streaming site may even offer more freedom to actors than a big budget Hollywood film can. So it only makes sense that Aniston has begun her transition to featuring in streaming movies.
Aniston will star alongside Adam Sandler in the Netflix film Murder Mystery, and now she has also signed on to star in a movie for the streaming site where she plays a lesbian president. According to Deadline, the film is called First Ladies, and the plot will focus on Aniston and her wife Tig Notaro. The two will maneuver the political climate of same-sex love at the same time the country experiences its first female president.
The tagline for the film reads, "When Beverly and Kasey Nicholson move into the White House, they’ll prove that behind every great woman... is another great woman." Yes, you read that correctly. The release date has not yet been revealed.
