Jay-Z raked in the cash during his "4:44" tour.

Jay-Z's 4:44 was the surprise success of 2017 as far as hip-hop albums go. Nabbing several Grammy nominations including one for Album of the Year, it has been nearly universally praised as Jigga's return to form. His accompanying tour had been plagued with rumors of poor ticket sales and even some show cancellations, but a statement from Live Nation recently revealed that the veteran rapper still managed to rake in the cash during his 32-city run of shows.

The concert promotion giant issued a statement, which was first reported by Complex, that Jay's tour, in total, grossed $44,698,354 over the course of those 32 dates. A whopping 426,441 tickets were sold for all shows combined, which supposedly works out to $1,396,823 grossed per show. There's no word on how much Hov will have profited from the concerts, since there's no indication of what his tour's expenses were each night, but it's safe to say that he still made a nice amount of cash as a result.

Such information seems to back up what was trumpeted earlier this year, that the 4:44 support tour was destined to be the rapper's highest-grossing solo tour ever, despite some tickets going for less than $50 in several markets. This also comes on the heels of Live Nation signing Jay to that monstrous multi-year contract totaling $200 million. With new additions to his family in tow and a music career that has seen a major resurgance this year, Jay-Z's future in the industry has never looked brighter.
