Getting praise from the greats is every rapper's dream, and last night, Vic Mensa got some of that for himself.
Making an appearance at a listening party for his album The Autobiography, Jay-Z offered short but very sweet praise of his Roc Nation signee. "Vic is a very special talent," he said. "He can do everything – sing well, rap well. He even engineers himself sometimes. He’s an incredible artist, like a once in a lifetime artist." Beyoncé was also on hand at the event, making her first real public appearance since giving birth to twins.
The Autobiography will drop on July 28th and will feature appearances from Pharrell, Chief Keef and more. Watch some footage of Jay-Z intro for Mensa at the event below.
