Jay Z is taking his time and care with the visual elements attached to his new album 4:44. Following up videos for the Damien Marley-featured and banger "BAM," as well as the album's title track, Hov delivers the visual for the album's opening track "Kill Jay Z."
As we glimpsed in a teaser, the video features a young black man running with a purpose, and intensity, down an alley-way. Shot in a crisp black and white, the young man wears a t-shirt that reads "STAY BLACK." There's a sense of terror in his eyes, although we're not quite sure what exactly he's running from through out the length of video. In an adjoining scene, we see a young man swimming with equal intensity, as though he's trying to stay afloat.
You can watch it (exclusively) on TIDAL.
