For the last week, we've all been speculating about James Blake's next album. The man is one of the top-tier talents in the music industry and every time he decides to release something, it's usually worth listening to. Unfortunately, much of the information surrounding the upcoming work was leaked by Amazon a few days ago but the release date has actually been moved up from what we first expected.
It appears as though next week will be the official start to the new year. Not only are we getting a new album from Future (and possibly one from Rich The Kid,) but James Blake will also be coming through with a different vibe, releasing Assume Form on January 18. A list of features was rumored to include Travis Scott and Metro Boomin and both artists appear on the official form. A poster was shared by Matt Wilkinson of Beats 1, which confirms the new release date and appearances from the two aforementioned names in addition to Andre 3000, Moses Sumney, and Rosalia.
Blake has launched a new website to hype up the work, prompting fans to sign up here as a haunting loop plays in the background. James Blake looks set on continuing what has been an impressive run in the industry with Assume Form and with such a strong list of features, we can assume many of you will be tuning in.
