The ending of Avengers: Infinity War broke our hearts. If you haven't seen the film, be warned that there are spoilers ahead.
After Thanos captures all of the Infinity Stones and "snaps" away half of life in the universe, one very tragic death takes place. Spider-Man's dying words "I don't feel so good" have been morphed into the most heartbreaking yet hilarious meme series on the internet. Although Peter Parker turned to ashes in Tony Stark's hands, we all know that he will return, somehow. Tom Holland, who plays the wall-crawler, is set to reprise his role in a sequel to Spiderman: Homecoming. The sequel begins filming this Summer, and it appears that Marvel has their sights set on the actor who will be traumatizing Parker next.
According to Variety, Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to play the villain Mysterio for the Homecoming sequel. In the comics, Mysterio uses a combination of visuals, scents, and sounds to create hallucinations and false realities that trick the heroes. In one storyline, called Old Man Logan, Mysterio tricks Wolverine into murdering the entire team of X-Men. Michael Keaton is also set to reprise his role as the Vulture.
The untitled Spiderman: Homecoming sequels is set to hit theaters on July 5, 2019.
