Following the success of Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's battle on Instagram Live, the duo of mega-producers established a new series called Verzus, which pits some of the most iconic artists against each other in a celebration of the culture. Thus far, we've seen Teddy Riley and Babyface bring the house down, Nelly and Ludacris go head-to-head, and Erykah Badu and Jill Scott face off.
This week, a battle between Jagged Edge and 112, two of the most memorable R&B groups of all time, was teased by Timbo and Swizz. It looks like the official confirmation has come in, thanks to an exclusive report by The Shade Room.
As of right now, we're still waiting to hear from 112, Jagged Edge, or the Verzuz organizers on when and if this will happen. However, a new report is confident that it has already been planned and is on the way in the near future.
A lot of buzz has been going around about the potential battle, which will certainly be nostalgic for thousands of fans. As more information comes out regarding the planned Verzuz challenge, we will keep you updated.
