The Golden Globes brought many notable after parties as the attendees were celebrating the successes of the night. Nominee Issa Rae, who was up for Best Actress In a Musical or Comedy TV Series for Insecure, was one of the stars basking in some post-award show bliss with Canadian hip-hop superstar Drake. The "Passionfruit" rapper was performing a DJ set at an undisclosed celebration, and Issa was proclaiming her excitement while he spun Wizkid's "Daddy Yo."
Issa can be heard yelling "Zaddy" while Drake was immersed in his set, while captioning the short video "Zaddy Z-jaying." The actress also posted another short video to Twitter revealing to her followers the great time she had, while also exclaiming that the playlist for the event was "simply correct," while also calling Drake a "phenomenal DJ."
In the past, Issa has revealed that she is a huge fan of Drake's work, and even told Rolling Stone that there is an easter egg for one of Drake's lyrics in every episode of Insecure, revealing "that was a personal thing for me, but that's not something that we bang you over the head with."
In other Drake news, it has been reported that he and old flame Zoe Kravitz may have rekindled their relationship during this past Sunday's Golden Globes, as the two were spotted canoodling throughout the event.
