"The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl" is being talked about three years later.

Issa Rae has become well-known from her HBO series, Insecure. Before that, she was a bubbling writer who shared her truths about living as a Black female and the trials and tribulations of working, dating, partying and life overall. She touches on these topics in her book The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, that is also a YouTube series that aired in 2011. It's only recently that fans are caught up in a passage from her book about Black women dating Asian men.

In the chapter, Issa says Black women and Asian men are at the bottom of the dating pool and because of this Issa suggests they join forces in "love, marriage and procreation."

Three years later it's turned into a heated conversation on Twitter, but despite the few that aren't for Issa's book, there's even more who aren't for this "fake woke," urging everyone to read the whole book other than one paragraph before making a final decision. Peep the reactions below - what do you guys think?
