Adesanya is quickly ascending the UFC ranks.

Israel Adesanya has been on a meteoric rise to fame within the UFC. Adesanya calls himself "the last style Airbender" thanks to his unique fighting style that sees him dominate his opponents with slick moves. Adesanya gained much of his notoriety when he defeated Anderson Silva at UFC 234. He easily won the fight and improved his record to 16-0. This weekend, Adesanya will fight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 236 for the middleweight interim title. While he already has one fight ahead of him, he's already looking towards his future.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Adesanya said that he's ready to take on Jon Bones Jones who has been terrorizing the UFC since his debut.

"I already killed one G.O.A.T. and I'm hunting the next," Adesanya explained. "I've got a feeling me and him will eventually fight each other."

A fight between Adesanya and Jones would surely be an interesting one, although the Nigerian fighter says he wants to remain focused on Gastelum. The loss Jones has on his record was due to a positive steroid test. If you were to exclude that fight, he's an undefeated fighter.

If Adesanya went into a match with Jones undefeated, there would absolutely be a lot on the line.

Who do you think would win that bout?
