"Album coming this summer."

Top Dawg Entertainment's roster is one of the best in the game and it's very rare that there's a season where someone on their roster isn't dropping something new. However, because of how focused they are at pushing each record, it sometimes feels like we don't hear from certain artists until it's time to drop an album. Isaiah Rashad often drops albums then ghosts for a bit before coming back to drop off another but fans are eagerly waiting for him to drop. Good news, it looks like we'll be getting his third studio album this summer.

During a performance at BUKU festival this weekend, Isaiah Rashad announced that his new album is dropping this summer as he closed out his set. This album is the follow up to 2016's The Sun's Tirade. He didn't announce a title or any other information but to know that we'll have a new album from him to ride out to over the summer is good enough for the time being.

"Alright so, album coming this summer. See y'all later n*ggas," he said as he walked off the stage.

It's been a while since we heard any music from him. He's dropped off a handful of gems since The Sun's Tirade. Earlier in the year, he dropped off some unreleased music from 2011 with YGTUT and in September, he was one of many rappers to remix "The Race." Either way, we're hella excited to hear new music from Isaiah.
