Odom doesn't get any freebies.

Ice Cube has been able to generate some potent talent for his BIG3 League. When it began, critics doubted that it could survive and estimated that the league would crumble under its own weight. They were wrong. Amar'e Stoudemire, Metta World Peace, Baron Davis, Nate Robinson, Carlos Boozer, Glen 'Big Baby' Davis, Chris 'Birdman' Andersen, and Quentin Richardson are just a few of the players who participated in the league. Lamar Odom has had his ups and downs, but Ice Cube is willing to give him a shot at playing in the league. The champion won't get a freebie though, as Ice Cube wants to see him work out first.

Speaking with TMZIce Cube stated, "I'm rooting for him," when asked about Odoms progress. "He's still gotta try out like everybody else," says Cube as he signs albums for fans outside of an airport. He doesn't give the reporter so much as a glance while he interacts with the fans. "Get healthy, get in shape, and get to the combine," continued Cube. Although Odom does look good in some new training videos, Cube reminds the reporter that everyone looks good in an empty gym. The West Coast vet is more interesting in seeing Odom play under defensive pressure.
