In the third part of his interview with AllHipHop.Com, Mobb Deep member Havoc talks on the Mobb beef with Jay-Z.
He spoke on the impact of the infamous Summer Jam diss from Hov, saying he saw a difference in the group, but at the time he didn't want to believe it.
"The impact for me was that it just made me have to step my game up," said Havoc. "Everybody was coming down on P, but I was holding him down like son is still good. I just felt like I had to step my game up when that happened. That should have been a beef that should have never took place."
He also says how Prodigy's various beefs affect him, "Whatever one person does in a group reflects on me. If I’m walking through someone’s ‘hood, that this dude [Prodigy] done dissed, I can’t sit there and go, ‘yo, but nah’ – they looking at me like I’m him, and dudes want to score points off of that," Hav explained. "So that always put me in the line of fire."
