John Wick 3 has absolutely dominated the box office. According to Forbes, the film is entering its second week with $74 million to $79 million domestic earnings with presumably $171 million worldwide. The film marks Keanu Reeve's second-biggest debut behind The Matrix Reloaded in 2003. Before the film even came out, Keanu's co-star Halle Berry demanded a role in the movie and she clearly made the right decision.
“I got a call saying, ‘Halle Berry would like to meet with you.’ I was like, ‘That’s cool.’ I’d never met her before," director Chad Stahelski explained. "She came to my offices in Manhattan Beach the next day, walked right in, sat down, goes, ‘I want a part in John Wick 3. I’m like, well, ‘That’s very flattering, but we don’t have a script yet.’ She said, ‘I don’t care.’ I’m like, ‘Well, I don’t even know if there’s a female [part].’ She goes, ‘I don’t care, I want to be in it, let’s party.'”
Now that the film is number one in America, Halle's feeling all kind of grateful and has expressed her feelings on Instagram. "Thank you for making John Wick the #1 movie in America....ayyyyyyyyy!!! An overwhelming number of you have loved Sofia’s gangster dogs," she wrote.
