Gucci Mane's reputation as the most prolific artist in hip-hop has tempered of late -- though let's be honest, his multiple-albums-a-year pace was hardly sustainable, even for the game's hardest workers. Yet Gucci Mane has never been one to waste a day, even amidst a worldwide pandemic. In fact, he seems to be using the unique opportunity to double down, going so far as to arrange a jam-packed video shoot for an upcoming collaboration with 21 Savage.

Taking to Instagram to preview the new track and video alike, Guwop made it clear that he's not about to abandon the spirit of his "old" namesake. The track in question is one the more aggressive we've seen from him, at least in recent memory. Over a simmering dark banger, the likes of which gives off a spooky aesthetic, Gucci Mane weaves together a dexterous flow scheme; though the subject matter may mirror that of his formative years, the quick rhyming is a newer development.
At this rate, look for the new video to arrive in the imminent future. As we know, Gucci has been undergoing a signing spree of sorts, so whatever he does wind up dropping will likely come heavy on the 1017 involvement. Are you looking forward to seeing this new video?
