Crew

There's a lot of different types of rap coming out of the DMV these days, and today two unique voices from the area have teamed up and found their overlap. Goldlink, who has taken up stay in both Maryland and Virginia, is joined by D.C.'s Shy Glizzy on "Crew," as they take on a slow groove that feels comfortable for both of their styles. Meanwhile, Brent Faiyaz, an L.A.-by-way-of-Baltimore singer supplies the slick hook and brings it all together. The track is called "Crew" for a reason, as these three sound comfortable enough on the same track that they almost emulate a group, with the colorful artwork hammering their chemistry home.

Following his collaboration with Isaiah Rashad in October, Goldlink seems to be zeroing in on some good collaborators. Perhaps these collabs mean his new LP is in the works?
